Greg Milner is a journalist and author whose writing has appeared in The New York Times, New YorkerArs Technica, The GuardianSlate, Salon, Spin, Village Voice, Rolling Stone, Wired, Blender, The Word, and The Sunday Times of London. His most recent book is Pinpoint: How GPS Is Changing Technology, Culture, and Our Minds. His previous book, Perfecting Sound Forever: An Aural History of Recorded Music, was a finalist for the National Book Critics Circle Award. He has delivered lectures on topics related to GPS at Columbia University, Johns Hopkins University, and the East-West Center at the University of Hawaii.
